Special Investigation Service of Republic of Armenia
Six People Illegally Deprived of Freedom and Held in Former Deputy’s Company Administration Building
2013-11-27

The Special Investigation Service of RA has initiated a criminal case under the RA Criminal Code, Article 133, part 2, points 1 and 6.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of “Max Concern” LLC Vaspurak Martirosyan, entering into a preliminary agreement with a group of people, held former employees of “Lusakert Pedigree Poultry Plant” LLC against their will in the company’s administration building on November 2-7, 2009 with the intent of illegally depriving them of their freedom in order to receive from them compensation as well as elucidation of the material damage caused to the company. There they had security officers not yet identified in the case keep the former employees under control, thus illegally depriving them of the freedom to move and choose a place of stay, and held them there until the latter wrote by compulsion and coercion promissory notes to pay cash money to “Lusakert Pedigree Poultry Plant” LLC.
Detention has been chosen as pretrial measures against Vaspurak Martirosyan.
Preliminary investigation continues.
