The Special Investigation Service has initiated a criminal case under the RA Criminal Code, Article 314, part 1, over falsification of an official document by RA police officer E.M.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a criminal case was initiated on October 9, 2013 by Shengavit Investigation Division under the RA Criminal Code, Article 121, part 1, over the fact that on July 4, 2013 G.C. pushed L.K. to the ground while making his way through the crowd in one of post offices in Yerevan, as a result of which L.K. received a moderate injury in the form of hip fracture resulting in long-lasting deterioration of health.
Preliminary investigation has also revealed that on July 4, 2013 materials were prepared on the above incident by senior lieutenant of the RA Police E.M., who compiled fake records constituting an official document stating that the aggrieved explained that she had received the injury because of falling down on her own.
Moreover, to confirm that L.K. had received the injury as a result of falling down on her own the police officer compiled fake records stating that he had been given an explanation by A.H. (who, in fact, was a fictitious person); thus he introduced false statements into the records claiming that A.H. was the daughter of the aggrieved and confirmed that her mother had received the bodily injuries as a result of falling down.
Preliminary investigation continues.
