Within the scope of criminal case investigated in the RA Special Investigation Service Henrik Abrahamyan was on 10.08.2018 brought charge under article 235 (part 2) of the RA Criminal Code, for socially dangerous act, namely, for he illegally obtained arms – 7 guns of 5,45 mm calibre of factory production, 3 automatic acoustic rifles of 5,45 mm calibre, one sniper rifle of 7,62 mm calibre with its optic sight, one sniper rifle of 7,62 mm calibre with its arm box, one semi-automatic carbine of 7,62 mm calibre, one hunting acoustic carbine of 5,62 calibre with its arm box, one pistol made in industrial way adjusted to shoot with bullets of 9 mm. calibre, and 2909 bullets in total of different calibres, and coming to preliminary consent with Ambik Gevorgyan illegally kept all said items in the territory of former mechanic repair factory of Mkhchyan, registered on the name of the latter and actually owned by Henrik Abrahamyan’s brother Hovik Abrahamyan; all these was found and confiscated during the search made in the said territory on August 6, 2018.
Investigator of RA Special Investigation Service filed a request to the court to select taking into custody as a measure of restriction with regard to Henrik Abrahamyan.
The preliminary investigation is underway.
