The Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia launched a proceeding against the criminal case instituted in the Investigation Committee of the Republic of Armenia with regard to the employment-related negligence committed by the employees of Lori Regional Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Acts of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with Part 2 of Article 315 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the employees of Lori Regional Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Acts, after selling the housing estate located in Vanadzor city to Vahagn K. through the forced auction in the sum of 9 million 380 thousand Armenian drams and the invalidation of the above auction by the Lori Regional Court of General Jurisdiction, and being obligated to organize a repeated forced auction compliance with Part 3 of Article 34 of RA Law “On public bargaining”, the enforcement employees failed to fulfill their duties. In particular, they did not organize a repeated forced auction as a result of which the above owner of the housing estate alienated it which negligently led to serious consequences. Vahagn K. was caused material damage in a substantial amount of 9 million 380 thousand Armenian drams.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
